My name is Denka Ivanova, founder and managing director of the MARMALAD café-confectionery . My passion for baking began in the family bakery in Bulgaria, where I discovered the magic of handmade baked goods at an early age. With a solid education as a confectioner and numerous further training courses, I combine specialist knowledge, creativity and entrepreneurial skills. In my work, I attach great importance to quality, natural ingredients and the combination of traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques. My goal is to create special moments for my customers through my creations and to establish our café as a meeting place for gourmet lovers.

I am Galin Ivanov, master confectioner and co-founder of the MARMALAD café-confectionery . With more than 20 years of experience in the baking and confectionery industry, including managing my own businesses, I stand for artisanal perfection and innovative recipes. My expertise ranges from traditional baking to creative cake and eclair making. Together with my wife Denka, I combine our passion for quality and aesthetics to create distinctive products. My goal is to delight our customers with masterful baked goods and to make Marmalad a brand for excellence and enjoyment.

Our Story
Our journey began in 1994 in the small family bakery in Bulgaria. We deepened our passion for homemade desserts with the opening of our first café-patisserie in 2000 in Baltchik. Inspired by modern trends and flavors we discovered in Germany, today we bring you a unique blend of traditional taste and modern elegance.
